Mark Collie is an American country music singer, songwriter, musician, actor, record producer, and philanthropist. Throughout his career, he has released five major-label albums—four with MCA Nashville and one with Giant Records—and charted sixteen singles on the Hot Country Songs chart, including top ten hits like “Even the Man in the Moon Is Cryin’” and “Born to Love You.”

In addition to his own recordings, Collie has written songs for notable artists such as Aaron Tippin, Alabama, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and JT Hodges. His songwriting is characterized by a blend of rockabilly energy and clever lyricism, drawing comparisons to Bruce Springsteen and Johnny Cash.

Collie has also pursued acting, appearing in films like “Fire Down Below,” “The Punisher,” “Kill Switch,” and the television series “Landman.” Notably, in 1999, he portrayed Johnny Cash in the short film “I Still Miss Someone,” which he co-wrote and co-produced.

Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a teenager, Collie has been an active fundraiser for diabetes research. He organized celebrity/NASCAR events, including Legend Car races and concerts, raising millions of dollars for the cause. His efforts led to the establishment of the Mark Collie Chair in Diabetes Research at Vanderbilt University.

Throughout his career, Collie has continued to tour actively in the U.S. and Europe, sharing stages with artists like Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, and Johnny Cash. In 2013, he signed with 101 Ranch Records, marking a new chapter in his musical journey.
