Effingham Health System and the City of Rincon have partnered to provide the best Gears & Grub event ever. This new relationship allows for sustainable growth and new and exciting possibilities. All proceeds from Gears & Grub still benefit the Effingham Health System Foundation.
Due to logistical changes at Freedom Park, the 2026 event has a new layout and event maps will be posted prior to the event. We are also moving to online and credit/debit card payments as much as possible to speed up the entrance/registration process for all. Check back soon for the final layout and schedule – but get ready – it’s going to be AWESOME!!

About Gears & Grub
Gears & Grub is an annual event benefiting the non-profit Effingham Health System Foundation. EHS Foundation’s Mission is to support Effingham Health System’s continued growth by increasing awareness through philanthropy and by providing the financial resources that support the delivery of quality healthcare in our community. Gears & Grub is intended to help raise awareness of the EHS Foundation and how it supports the growth of healthcare services close to home through our community-owned healthcare system: Effingham Health System. Funds raised through the event will go toward that purpose.
